Great customer service, great payout speed, and ever increasing traffic. ring play always has options going, and there is a good selection on tourney play with various blind structures. People will complain about the anonymous play but honestly its whatever since you wouldnt have any other options available to you in live play for exm hod and extended period(multi-session) note taking. great site. I like the look and feel of it. payout is a breeze and for me only takes around 10 to 14 days to receive. That in itself puts it light years ahead of most sites available to US players. I actually like the anonymous tables as it makes me pay attention each and every game. Bovada Poker is above average for online poker sites and that is saying quite a bit. There just are not that many poker sites for U.S. players and of the few available most are sub-par. Bovada did have a couple of negative things I found. The first was one of my pet peeves, when I started to register my new Bovada Poker player account bang, my Internet browser opened. I do not like sites that have their software programs use another software program for something so simple as registering a new player account. It is a big fat waste of time! The second negative was Bovada charges a fee to U.S. players for their deposits. The second negative I just mentioned will keep me from depositing at Bovada Poker. The fee amount charged to U.S. players is 4.9% of the amount being deposited. This is ludicrous to put it nicely. All online poker sites make a tidy profit from their players. Why Bovada Poker wants to be greedy might just be the million-dollar question. Bovada Poker has only has two different types of depositing I could find. They are Visa credit or debt card and Western Union. Considering the 4.9% fee Bovada charges, one would think the site could come up with a few more depositing options for their players. Bovada Poker also offers players a casino and sportsbook to try their luck. I noticed while I was playing Omaha High Low (play money) a small icon link to Bovada’s Blackjack games. I think that link might be very tempting to many of Bovada Poker’s players. However, that is probably the intention of the site; get more Bovada Poker players to the Blackjack games. The choices of poker games Bovada Poker had on their menus were average. They have the usual Texas Hold’em, NL, PL, and Limit games for varying dollar amounts. Bovada Poker does not offer the carnival poker games, (that is what I call them), such as Badugi, Razz, or the combination games such as HORSE or HOSE. I like to play these types of poker variants to break the humdrum of constant Texas Hold’em play. At this point, I am neutral on whether I would recommend Bovada Poker to anyone. It is definitely a poker site that one would have to acquire a taste for play.
