
WSOPE in Berlin saw yet another Greek win in Event 8, the $1,500 buy-in Turbo No-Limit Hold'em competition. Georgios Sotiropoulos won his first WSOP bracelet and Euro 112,133 after taking down a field of 546.
This was his largest cash at a WSOP event, which he was able to obtain with opponents such as
John Racener, Brian Hastings and Byron Kaverman.
Sotiropoulos faced Paul Tedeschi of France in the heads up after Andre Lommel and Benjamin Zamani were eliminated in third and fourth place respectively.
Tedeschi received the second place paycheck of Euro 69,361.
