Hastings brings his career earnings to $4 million The WPT Regional Summer Splash in Hollywood, Florida ended this week and the main prize went to a young poker coach and high stakes internet player Brian Hastings (23), who has now brought his career earnings to about $4 million, at the same time winning his first major live tournament title. The $2,200 buy-in competition was held at the Hard Rock Casino in Seminole, and attracted 381 entrants, including a big-name final table that comprised Griffin Malatino, Michael Degilio, Darryl Fish, Jake Schwartz, Anthony Ruberto, Cong Pham, Martha Dajer-Rodriguez and Bryan Camponello. In the heads-up, Hastings defeated Florida player Griffin Malatino, who took home a runner-up prize of $117,300, whereas the main prize of $213,877 went to Hastings.
