Winning Poker Network was the focus of a recent Distributed Denial of Services on Sunday evening.
Losses are believed to be around $200,000 since players were unable to register for a major million dollar guaranteed tournament. Despite this there were about 600 players that had already registered but the DDoS attack disrupted the registration process.
WPN managed to move forward with the event while combatting the attack. A total of 1,600 players registered but still created a significant loss for the operator.
