PokerStars has celebrated 10 years of residence on the Isle of Man. They are holding a poker tournament at Villa Marina in Douglas and a 3D light spectacular on Wednesday.
The World Poker Tour Borgata Open has been won by New Yorker David Paredes. The $3,500 buy-in event had a $3 million guaranteed prize pool and Paredes walked away with $$723,227 after coming first out of 1027 players.
"Coenaldinho7" won the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) on PokerStars along with his first place prize of $1.1 million. Almost 2,000 players paid the $5,200 buy-in which gave a prize pool of $10 million.
Aaron Mermelstein won his second WPT title at WPT Maryland Live! event. He took first place in the $3,500 buy-in tournament and netted his first place prize of $250,222.
