Despite the WSOP being in full swing in Las Vegas, there is still plenty of other opportunities for poker fans to enjoy their favorite game. Five exciting tournaments are scheduled to begin in the first week of July, with some lasting through to mid September.
2016 Florida State Poker Championship
A fourteen-event tournament wll be hosted at Isle Casino in Pompano Beach, Florida. Starting from July 5 and ending July 25, poker players will have a chance to compete in No Limit Hold'em and Omaha 8/OB Hi/Lo events, each with a guaranteed prize pool between $5,000 and $500,000.
The $1,500 Main Event will span the last four days, July 21st to July 25th and offer players a share of the guaranteed $500,000.
2016 HPT Colorado
The Heartland Poker Tour includes six No Limit Hold'em events spanning twelve days from July 7th to July 18th. Players will compete at Golden Gates Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado in four single-day events with $200 buy-ins, and one four-day event with a $300 buy-in.
On July 13th, The Main Events starts, featuring four starting flights and two more days of play through to July 18th.
Aria Super High Roller X
This tournament is the tenth of its kind taking place on July 7th at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The competition lasts a single day and costs $50,000 fee.
2016 Four Corners Championship
The longest of the summer tournaments, The Four Corners Championship will run form July 9 through September 5, at Casino Sandia in Albuquerque. Players will compete in five No Limit Hold'em events - four two-day ones and a three-day $600 Main Event starting on September 3rd.
2016 MSPT Milwaukee
The poker festival will feature several poker satellites for the Main Event and the actual $350 Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. It will be hosted at Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from July 9th to July 17th.
