In order to help its charity partner, Right To Play, collect enough funds for disadvantaged children, top-ranked platform and host of online casino games, PokerStars, has announced a 5 Billion Guaranteed Charity Tournament and scheduled it for April 6th at exactly 20:00 EST. The operator is aiming to donate $50,000 by making a $10 contribution of the first 5,000 players who sign-up and play. The company’s first online charity tour takes place on the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace and it is the biggest of its kind. By opting-in and placing a deposit, nearly 1,500 lives of impaired children around the world could be improved and changed for the better. Right To Play has made positive impacts in many fields, and raising vital funds for the children is always a good cause to take part in poker tournaments, says Sue Hammett, head of corporate giving. As for the rules, the buy-in extends to one million play money chips, followed by an indefinite number of re-entries and a single add-on. At some point, PokerStars ambassadors, Fatima Moreira de Melo, Celina Lin, Chris Moneymaker, Aditya Agarwal, Fintan Hand, Barry Greenstein and Jake Cody will also join, accompanied by Right To Play celebrity emmisaries.
