PokerStars to Enter New Jersey Intrastate Market?
The topic of "bad actor" exclusions is a popular online gambling issue these days; however a New Jersey state senator does not believe that PokerStars should be restricted from applying to operate in the state's intrastate online gambling market. Sen. Ray Lesniak said that PokerStars has paid its dues for the post-UIGEA activities in the US and should have the opportunity to enter the market. “We believe in competition,” the senator said, addressing an online gambling conference last week. A decision on PokserStars license application has been suspended for 2 years by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement while the company creates a develops an improved corporate management structure.
