Earlier this month, PokerStars introduced its newest tournament series, Megastack. Due to its positive reception in the UK, the brand will go live with the product across additional markets. The first of the series events premiered at London’s Hippodrome Casino, with additional events held in Belgium, Ireland, Malta, and France.
The newly launched Megastack series has been designed to target a specific type of player: the recreational player. Via the advantage of having low buy-ins, the new product specifically enables players to perfect their skills. Additionally, players can look forward to the chance to win a share of a guaranteed €500,000 prize pool. An event already scheduled in France for this September, La Grande-Motte, will offer the single largest prize pool of €100,000!
Team PokerStars Pro, Jake Cody, commented, "PokerStars Megastack is the perfect opportunity for you and your mates to get together to play poker, whether that’s for pure fun or as a stepping stone in your poker career."
Cody further added, "Players can expect an awesome poker experience and it will definitely be unforgettable for most players."
PokerStars plans to host a series of online satellite tournaments, to give players the opportunity to qualify for live events. Buy-ins are expected to start at the low price of €1.10.
Part of the Horizon Poker Network, the brand delivers its infamous tournaments, along with a full range of popular poker variants, and tons of promotions.
