As of July 6th, PokerStars penned an agreement with a court appointed administrator to take a major step toward making things right. They have vowed to make players’ PKR balances available dollar-for-dollar throughout its own site accounts. To make the deal even sweeter, the brand has ensured users that there are no strings attached. In fact, it has already established correspondence with PKR players, as already have an existing account with them. However, those who do not already have an account with the poker brand, simply need to register to see their funds become available for withdrawal. Standard terms will apply to all transactions.
The site sees this as a smart business move as well, and the expectation is that some players will use their bankroll to play with them, while simultaneously obtaining new customers. About 60,000 customers have been affected, and the poker room has begun contact, providing those customers with emailed instructions to see their funds become available. The process is fast, and a system has been developed to ensure customers are accurately credited. In just a few clicks, everything should be taken care of.
