Pay check of AUD459,510 goes to online poker pro
PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Grand Final was held in Sydney, Australia over the weekend, seeing online poker pro, Jonathan Karamalikis (22) defeating Benjamin McLean in the heads-up, and taking home the winner's check AUD$459,510 (GBP 288,521).
Apart from those two, the final table also comprised well-known pro's, such as Daniel Negreanu, Roland de Wolfe and Eddy Sabat. The tournament prize pool amounted to AUD$1,734,000 (GBP1,088,760), contributed to by 289 players.
