Poker News Roundup for week ending 6th March

The CAPT Seefeld satellite winners are in Austria ready for the big game and I have to say, they sound pretty excited about the prospect of the main event with 1 hour blind levels and a 50k starting stack. Since the satellite winners have arrived, rhey have had an opprtunity to view the historical buildings and scenery. Perhaps they will be too busy enjoying themselves to play the game. All 3 of hte players were knocked out of the tournament - only one player almost made it to day 2 by 15 minutes. He was BB and a new player had recently joined the table at SB position. He flat called and BB decided to try and steal straight off with 78 off and raised to 12.5k. The SB insta-called and eventually knocked out the remaining player of the 3 satellite winners with pocket queens. I guess he was stitched up like a kipper! The first of the Global Poker League teams have been released. Each team consists of one team manager, three pros (must be ranked in the top 1000 global rankings) and one wildcard which can be any player outside of hte top 1000 players.
