Points Satellite to the Daily Dollar

70 FTP (Full Tilt Points) will buy you a seat in the 5 seater satellite to the Daily Dollar tournament. 1st place wins the seat and 2nd place wins their buyin back. It's not a great tournament but if you have little or no cash, it's an ideal way to (try) to gain entry to a paid tournament. I'm registered and the game is about to start. First hand and I'm dealt 92 as BB. I'm raised so I just fold. One player calls and 57J is the flop. One player bets all in and the other player instantly calls. They show their hands and the first player to bet all in shows JQ and the opponent shows JA. The turn is a 2 and the river is a 10. One player down and there are four of us left. I can't seem to get a hand but everyone else is playing like crazy, with some decent hands I should add. I'm just posting and folding. The player that doubled up in the first hand has just been knocked out after playing the most silly 3 hands in a row. He was betting high with 2nd or 3rd pair. I've just managed to double up with A10 suited against JK suited. I hit a pair of 10s on the flop and they held. The chips are pretty even across us 3 remaining players. One player tilted when he lost to trip 10s. I then got pocket 10s next hand and raised BB (the tilter) and he re-raised me all in. I called and showed my 10s and he had A8. The flop is 93K, the turn is a 6 and the river is a 5 and he is out and there are two of us left. We played quite a few hands and after what seemed like forever, I was dealt A6. I decided to give it a go and raised pre-flop. Opponent calls. The flop comes down Ac7c4h. Opponent min bets and I call. The turn is Qc and i bet the pot and opponent re-raises all in. For some reason, I think he's bluffing about havint the flush and I decide to call. Needless to say, he has the darn flush and I'm out in 2nd place. I did win my buyin back and he won the Daily Dollar entry. Shame! Guess it's better than coming last though.
