Norwegian Challenge Set to Prove Poker Involves Skill

A poker pro has challenged a local politician to a $170,000 (NKR 1 million) challenge which he accepted in an attempt to prove that poker is a game of skill. Ola “Odd Oddsen” Amundsrud and local Progress Party politician Erlend Wiborg will face off in to prove to Norwegian lawmakers that there is no luck involved. Poker is not legal in Norway so the challenge will have to commence in another location although legislators are considering legalization with tight regulation which will likely include taxation. Thus far, details regarding the when and where of the challenge are unknown.
