A number of player reports sprang over the week regarding Lock Poker's alleged issues with withdrawals of account balances, which is another minus added to the venue's services, in addition to over-long delays in payments to its players.
Namely, it appears that this flagship site on the US-friendly Revolution network has started arbitrarily halting pay-outs to a number of players, who decided to turn to message boards to complain about their situation, to which a Lock spokesman seemed unable to respond.
What's more, the poker room rep just raised more voices with his accusations that some sort of syndicate or organized crime group has been plotting to drive down in some unexplained manner the value of Lock player deposits.
So far, there seems to be no criteria in these unilateral decisions to withhold payment to certain players, and the Lock spokesman only implied that marketing affiliates are in some way involved in the issue, as they are scolding the site trying to cause problems – which is what they are supposed to be doing when facing non-payment.
Any public company statement clarifying the situation is more than welcome at this point and will be widely anticipated by both players and marketing affiliates.
