The latest series of Living the Dream poker tournament videos, from TheGamblogger, Larry Colcy, will be sponsored by online poker site, Americas Cardroom (ACR). For this latest batch, the stunning Caribbean coast will serve as the backdrop for the $500K GTD Punta Cana Poker Classic.
For those who may be unfamiliar with the series, it follows online poker players who landed a spot in high stakes tournaments, via previous wins. The series often has the lucky winners jetting off to exciting places like St Maarten, Austria, and Punta Cana, where the latest batch will take place.
While the videos are not yet live, users can check out a preview article here. Otherwise, it all kicks off on October 27th, when the 'Living the Dream: Punta Cana 2016' becomes available on the Americas Cardroom blog, here.
According to Colcy, 'It's a huge leap from playing online to competing in a big money international tournament like this one. Some handle it well, some can't take the pressure. Fortunately there's lots of ways to unwind on a tropical island - and those often make for great videos!'
The group will be traveling with Faraz Jaka, known as the 'Homeless Millionaire,' in addition to Twitch Poker master, Doug Polk, who will provide his feedback on the tournament throughout the video series.
Poker manager for ACR also commented, 'Not everyone can make it to major events like this one. So we're glad to be able to sponsor these videos and give everyone a taste of what it's like out there on the poker tournament circuit.'
