The L.A Poker Classic had 25 famous names sign up for their Commerce High Roller competition this week. The buy-in was $25,400 and the competition was fierce with everybody looking to get a return on the investment.
Eventually it came down to 12 players by the second day. Eventually it was Jason Koon, Matt Marafioti and Californian ace Kevin Jonna who survived, Koon was busted by Jonna later on for $125,000. Jonna and Marafioti had a face off agreeing on a chop that left $25,000 on the table for the winner. Finally Marafioti was eliminated and Jonna left with the first prize of $262,840.
This was Jonna's biggest career win yet. Marafioti got the second place and left with $237,160.
