Intertops Poker is at it again with its infamous satellite tournaments, hosting them this time for the $770K European Poker Championship. One lucky winner will be on their way to Velden, Austria this summer to show off their skills. The winner will be taken from the Final, which takes place on May 6th, with a $6500 prize package up for grabs including a $2700 buy-in to the Main Event, all accommodations covered, plus $500 in travel expenses. The Championship is schedule this July from the 18th to the 29th.
The site's manager commented, "Velden is a great place for a poker tournament. During the day you can relax by the lake and enjoy the mountain air. Then it's time for high stakes poker with players from all over Europe!"
Whoever earns the satellite winner crown will likely be up against both professional and recreational players across Germany, Italy and Austria for an estimated prize pot of over €700,000! The entire experience will kick off with a welcome dinner with the Intertops team. In addition to the main event, other opportunities to rack up the cash will be held throughout the week in the form of tournaments and cash games.
