Mestre takes down the first IPF World Champion
A lot of formidable action could be seen at the first International Federation of Poker's (IPF) World Championship (labeled "The Table"), that was held in London over the weekend. However, only one could take down the main prize and the title, and this time the honors went to Spanish poker pro Raul Mestre who defeated Britain's Victoria Coren in an intense heads-up which earned him the title and $250 000.
The final table and the prize taken by the survivors were the following:

4. Slavko Tomic Serbia $25 000
5. Marsha Waggoner Australia $20 000
