The latest brand to join the Microgaming Poker Network is Rank Group plc's Grosvenor Casinos, which will give its poker players access to a range of mobile, instant play and downloadable poker products.
Rory Cartwright, head of poker at Grosvenor, said that MPN was selected due to the provider's enthusiastic attitude and collaborative approach.
'We're looking forward to marrying our strong retail poker presence with an online network which is growing month-on-month, year-on-year', said Cartwright.
'I'm very happy that Grosvenor Casinos has selected us as its new poker vendor,' said Alex Scott, head of poker for Microgaming. 'They have been fantastic to work with since day one. The addition of the Grosvenor brand to the network will help to accelerate our growth in 2016, and the synergies between our MPN Poker Tour and Grosvenor's retail presence are very exciting.'
According to Microgaming's press release:
'The MPN is one of only a few poker networks to have shown annual growth in 2015, bolstered by a slew of player-friendly changes including a revision of the network rake structure, new features like alias changes, and fun promotions like the Universal Championship of Poker. With the addition of a whole host of new operators in 2016, the MPN expects to grow even faster and to reinforce its position as the most thrilling place to play online poker.'
Grosvenor has 55 casinos throughout the UK and a strong presence in the poker circuit with its The Poker Room in London. The operator hosts the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour, which features the Goliath, the largest poker tournament held outside of The United States.
