At NLHE Pokerstars eight anniversary Sunday Million, German online poker player DrUPSWING roses up to the challenge and wins a million dollars. He beat a competition of 46,586 players; the buy-in was $215 with an $8 million guarantee. Almost 6,000 players from all over the world cashed in the event with the German being at the top of the list. Pokerstars guaranteed prize pool was exceeded by over a million dollars at $9,317,200. A final table was formed out of survivors from a massive international mix of players. The last people standing were three Germans, a Dutchman, two from the United Kingdom, an Estonian, a Croatian and a Swiss national. The final face off was between DrUPSWING and his fellow German hdjgkfkgsdl. DrUPSWING was very confident holding a more than 5 to 1 chip advantage. Things changed when hdjgkfkgsdl achieved evening out the chip counts. The game stopped, players started negotiating a chop, leaving an extra $160,000 on the table for the winner.
