Full Tilt players have been patiently awaiting payouts since April 2011 Black Friday and it may be just another four months before the Garden City Group makes good on these payments.
The US Department of Justice put the Garden City Group in charge of the repayment task. Players will be paid out with the $150 million paid to the government by PokerStars after its acquisition of Full Tilt.
Garden City sent more than one million notices to Full Tilt customers eligible for repayment and only received 41,000 requests to repay.
The Garden City Group posted the following on its website on Saturday:
"We are in the process of reviewing petitions filed by petitioners who confirmed their balances online and who have not disputed their FTP Account Balance or submitted multiple Petitions. We expect payments to be made with respect to such petitions with confirmed balances by March 31, 2014."
Players who did not respond to notifications have passed the deadline and will not be included in the first round of payouts.
