Flush Royale - 500 Euros Gtd Vienna Special Free ticket

I managed to find my 32Red Poker free ticket in the end, despite what I said last week! I hadn't spotted it under "Tournament Group" in the "my tickets "section. The next tourney isn't until tomorrow (Monday) so my blog will feature that game when it plays and I'll be writing it "as it happens". I set my alarm on my phone to remind me to login. Thank goodness I did or I would have forgotten. After around 30 seconds of being logged in, the game loads. There are only 15 players. First few hands is the usual rubbish and I'm just posting and folding. I'm dealt A7 and I'm BB. The person UTG raises by 20 chips - this person has been raising almost every hand and then stealing the pot. I decided to call. The flop came down AJ3 (J and 3 are spades). I check and opponent bets 120. I raise to 240 and he bets all in. I had to think about it and decided that I was ahead. I was right but they had the flush draw after showing 710 suited (spades). The turn was a 7 and the river was a 3 so the Ace held and I won the hand with two pairs. Phew! I could have been out after just a few hands. The guy next to me has re-bought twice now after losing his chips for a 2nd time against another opponent. He is crazy and clearly has too much cash! The player next to him is buying the pot every hand....I'm biding my time! The number of players has increased to 17 and nobody has been knocked out yet. Prizes are 250, 150 and 100 Euros for 1st to 3rd place. First place also receives a 20+2 Euro Live Event ticket as well. I've posted and folded for ages until I'm moved to another table. First hand I'm dealt into and I'm dealt AA. I raise pre-flop and I'm re-raised all in pre-flop. Joy! I of course call. Opponent shows KK and lucky for me I hit an ace on the flop and win the hand with trips. I'm unraised BB and hit a pair 7s on the flop. I bet and I'm called by one player all the way to the river and they show their pocket 9s. Lost a few chips but not so many that I can't recover. 20 players registered now and 3 are out. I was just dealt pocket Kings and took the pot with no trouble. Next hand and I'm dealt pocket Aces - I take that pot too and now I'm in first position. I don't like being first this early as there's only one way to go! I've also just made a deposit as there is an add-on of 6k in chips at the end of the registration period/break. Posting and folding and no decent hands puts me into 2nd place. I can't get a decent hand. We've just had a break so I quickly made a coffee. I'm down to 3rd place now not because I've lost chips but because others have won some. I need a decent hand now and I need to start loosening up too as there are 10 players left. Many hands have passed and I've won a couple but I'm still in 3rd place. 9 players remain. blinds are 300/600 and I'm getting any decent hands at all. 63 off, 52 off, J2 off - just awful. They just moved me again after I won a few chips with K10. Still 10 players left - rebuy period is still on! OMG there has been a rush of players joining the tourney just before it closes for registration and there are now 19 players remaining out of the 34 that registered. I just lost a load of chips are lossening up a bit - i called with JK as BB and lost to AK. Back to being tight! Blinds are 600/1200 and my stack is dwindling fast. I tae a chance and bet all in with A6 as I have position and it pays off and I take the blinds. So I'm BB and I've been dealt AJ. SB raises me all in (they have more chips than me) and I call. They show J2 off and believe it or not they hit a flush and I'm out in 13th place. Good game but really annoying to be knocked out like that.
