Jussi Nevanlinna of Finland was victorious in the 2015 Master Classics of Poker Main Event among a field of 291 to take top prize of Euro 300,000 at Holland Casino in Amsterdam.
Nevanlinna previously made the nine-seat final tables in the 2011 and 2014 events. This year he faced Georgios Zisimopoulos in the heads up round sending him home in second place.

It seems like the Nordic countries produce a disproportionate number of poker pro's who play at the highest levels. I wonder if the famed Scandinavian reserve or emotional aloofness said to be characteristic of Scandinavians might have something to do with it. Sometimes people around here seem to have a poker face in day to day activities for crying out loud. Maybe it is in the culture from an early age.
