Churchill Downs is ready to go should California politicians approve licensing and regulation of online poker.
According to the Courier-Journal, the racing company has been working on an online poker platform and filed a SEC advisory that it has signed a 10-year partnership deal with the cardroom divisions of Crystal Casino & Hotel in Los Angeles and Ocean's 11 in Oceanside, owned by Haig Kelegian Sr.
The deal will see Churchill to provide the platform in partnership with the cardrooms including operation and marketing once online poker regulation is in place.
