Byron Kaverman Takes Down EPT Euro 10,300 High Roller
American poker player Byron Kaverman followed his success in previous high roller events in Malta by winning the European Poker Tour Euro 10,300 High Roller competition over the weekend for an impressive Euro 430,800 first prize. The participants, which included Mukul Pahuja, Robert Romanello, Bryn Kenney, Kevin MacPhee, Martin Finger, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Sylvain Loosli and Jason Mercier, generated a massive Euro 2,037,000 prize pool. Thus far Kaverman has won $3 million in live tournament events this year including a WSOP bracelet and $657,351 in the $10,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship in Las Vegas. Kaverman took on fellow American player Mukul Pahuja in the hour and a half heads up.
