The Winning Poker Network and Black Chip Poker CEO, Phil Nagy, threw a historic poker night this past weekend and held, for the first time, two $1,000,000 guaranteed tournaments (last Sunday)! The BOSS Main Event featured a $2,100 high roller, whereas the Million Dollar Sunday required a $540 buy-in. Both tourneys kicked off on the last day of the $14 Million OSS Cub3d.
The total number of entries for the main event exceeded 562, totaling a mammoth $1,124,000 prize pool. The players who came in first were "omaha4rollzz," claiming $224,800 and "anythingdk," taking as much as $238,500 with an engraved sterling silver bracelet.
With attention to the world’s best player base, WPN hosted the biggest cash game on the planet and showed that big tourneys such as this one lead to the best gaming action. Nagy’s appreciation also goes to staff for an outstanding performance and preparations.
In the same fashion, the poker site is already looking ahead to 2018 and new tournaments. The major news is that it will host a series of Million Dollar Sunday tournaments during each of the first 12 weeks of the year!
Nagy is hoping to see even more players on their favorite network for online poker, and invites all interested gamesters to stay tuned for the upcoming events at Black Chip Poker. Their wide range of games and nine open seats at the poker tables offer an outstanding igaming experience. Both traditional and unique games are included, which means that Texas Hold’em, Omaha Hi, Razz, Five-Card Stud, Badugi and others are available. The site is licensed and regulated by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.
