The GBP 120 buy-in annual Goliath competition event in the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour attracted 4,120 entries and exceeded the GBP 250,000 guaranteed prize pool at GBP 421,000.
The final kicked off on Sunday with 16 survivors playing for GBP 75,800 at two eight-handed tables, which were led by Leeds internet and live pro Shane Mossop.
The game paused for negotiations with Miikka Toikka, Katie Swift, Ryan Meager and Sunil Moti remaining. The quartet agreed to a 4-way chop which would see each take at least GBP 25,200 and the winner take the remaining share.
Miikka Toikka and Katie Swift entered a brief heads up, which Toikka won taking first prize of GBP 70,800 leaving Swift with the second place price of GBP 46,300.
