
Andy Philachack of Texas was the last man standing among a field of 1,565 in the 2016 World Series of Poker Circuit Choctaw $1,675 no-limit hold'em main event. His prize included $393,188 and his second WSOP Circuit gold ring.
He started the final day in twelfth place out of twenty players and soared to the top having bested Jeffrey Landherr in the heads up round.
“Man, it just feels great,” Philachack said. “It was a battle. All these guys are wizards.”
With this win under his belt, Philachack's career live tournament winnings now exceed $2.3 million.
