  • Just wanted to say that I've had an excellent experience on Bodog Poker after "Black Friday".

They offer solid telephone and email support and I can deposit $20 using my credit card.

I've withdrawn like 4 times and it only takes one week to get your check!

I'm gunna check out some other sites too.  Avoid Cake Poker and any site using the infamous Merge Network (Carbon Poker, Lock Poker, etc).

    Thanks for the info Blue!

  • Thank you Twistyraid and for the information.  It's very usefull for other US players.

  • Hey blue,

do you know of any current poker sites with a ND that accept USA?

  • Hey blue,

do you know of any current poker sites with a ND that accept USA?

Yes Jacob - I'm waiting on a link.  I'll post it as soon as I have it.  You have to earn the bonus though via freerolls.

  • Does anyone from the US have positive experiences with these or anhy poker rooms since the crackdown?  Im leery to hop back in and play forfear of not being able to withdraw my winnings

Hi nipsy510, I have been playing at some of them, but I have not deposited or attempted to withdraw so can't help you there. Good luck!

On another note, is anyone having trouble creating an account at Yoga Poker? I have been trying for an hour now while exchanging emails with the support there and even being provided a link to newer software and still have not been able to create my account. Waiting for a new message from support now... just wondering if anyone else has tried or found this to be the case?

  • Hi nipsy510, I like Texas Holdem Saloon.  This seems a really good site (as far as I know from my limited experience with them.)

As for depositing/withdrawing, they have a huge amount of options to choose from which can only be a good thing.

Katt - as for Yoga - I've not downloaded it yet.  Did you read the important bit at the bottom of the above post regarding operating systems.  Which operating system are you using?  Have you resolved the problem yet?

    blue

  • I am on Windows 7 so the operating system stuff does not apply. I have not resolved the issue. They must be checking with techs or something because the first emails came quickly, but I have not heard from them this last time.

I have done all the usual stuff like emptying my cache, rebooting my system, complete uninstalls followed by new installs of the original link software and a new 2.0 link they sent me and none of it is working.

What happens is that I get to the set up account page and pick a screen name and a username which both tell me they are available. Then I fill in the rest of the blanks and push the Sign Up button and it tells me that the screen name is already in use. I have tried at least 6 different screen names and always get the same result.

Are you willing to try it and see if it works for you? All I can do at this point is wait for another email as I don't know what else to try from my end.

    Thanks

    katt

  • Thanks Katt.  Yes I will try it and I'm Windows 7 too.

I'll get back to you on that.

    blue

  • No probs here Katt.  Did you try reloading the registration page?  Which explorer are you using?

    blue

  • I am using IE8 and no, I did not reload the registration page if you don't count the many times I tried and restarted my computer.

Let me ask you this... did you use the registration page you get after you download the software or did you find one on their website? I have been using the one that comes up after the download, not on their site.

    thanks

    katt

EDIT: Ok, I went back and took a slightly different path to the registration screen. Then I put it in compatibility mode, then I refreshed the screen, then I F5 reloaded the screen, then I filled out the form and added numbers to the end of my screen name and my user name and after that it all worked!

  • LOL You two crack me up.

I was using Firefox and I downloaded and then clicked "Login" in the lobby, and then "sign up" which loaded the web page in my browser.

Glad you got it sorted Katt.  Let your challenge begin!

    blue

  • Thanks blue! Good thing I did get it worked out for myself... the last advice they gave me (after I got it going) was, "Just try."  :`o LOL

    katt

  • Thanks blue for what you did.

  • Hi satansmuff,

I took the promotion directly off their website.  It's not an exclusive from us.

Here are the images from their website (today)

I would go back to them and present them with these pictures from their website.

    blue

  • Thanks Blueday...I'll try them again. I really hope I get the promotions offered...the last thing we need is anothwr dishonest site...I'll keep you posted :)

  • Thanks Satansmuff.  So sorry you are having a problem with them.  I hope you get both promos as offered on their site.

    blue

  • Now they are telling me I have duplicate accounts even though I've never heard of this site before now and they closed my account...of course after accepting my deposit!

I tried Texas Holdem Saloon as you suggested on the page before this and I went to double check with online support....this is what I was told by live chat.

You are now chatting with 'Natalia'

Natalia: Welcome to Live help, my name is Natalia.

    Natalia: hello

Natalia: yes, the site is US friendly

kim: hi...are you guys accepting new usa players

    kim: ok...thanks

Natalia: and you may register to play with us for real money

    Natalia: You're welcome.

kim: and withdrawl with no problems?

Natalia: actually we are experiencing some delays in processing the cash outs for US players

kim: ok...so its not a good idea to play here then

    kim: thank you

    Natalia: You're welcome.

:(  at least they were honest and upfront from the start

  • Satansmuff, I am not sure if it will help you with Bovada now, but what happened most likely is that you formerly had a BODOG account. Bovada was BODOG for the US and they changed to Bovada a couple of months ago.

If they took away the new account you could try logging into your old BODOG account and then they step you through switching to Bovada all with the same account you had before at BODOG. Perhaps if you explain your confusion about that they will let you back up and fix it. Perhaps they can just delete the new account altogether and then get you right as rain.

That is why they are saying you have duplicate accounts... they have the old one at BODOG and you made a new one at Bovada instead of going through switching over.

    Good luck!

    katt

  • Thanks Katt.  Exactly right.

So what happened to your deposit?  Have they refunded it or put it in your old Bodog account?

Perhaps I should update that Bovada post just to clarify this situation.

Thank you for the info regarding Texas Holdem Saloon.  I suggest to just play in their freerolls for now because of their depositing probs. I will update that post as well.

They do have a $25 no deposit offer but you have to earn it via freerolls/playing poker before you can get it.

    blue

  • I've moved all the discussion out of the USA poker rooms thread into a new thread so if there are any issues, please post them in here.

    Thank you.
