  • Blue, I know we hijacked your Full Flush Freeroll thread - is there any way for you to split it off?

  • For non-US players:

Party poker/Bwin charges 3% of amount you want to withdraw, when you are withdrawing through Skrill/Moneybookers.

So if you withdraw 100$ they take 3$, for example.

  • actually i think this is VERY MUCH.. i always deposit like 10$ at fulltilt or pokerstars and cashed out 100$ or more i dont pay any fees and i can withdraw up to 3 times per day-instant....but here i have to pay even for ewallet and withdrawal limits are small..once per week.. slow and expensive..

no i dont see anything good!

  • American market clearly works in diferent way than Eu markets. Its the same way as before Black Friday. There is no fees on Pokerstars, Fulltilt and all the rest big poker names.

  • On one hand, why to put fees on withdrawals??? You pay fees when you deposit, the poker room makes money from that that you play and you have to pay a fee to get your earned money? Bullshit! And at that costs? For me as i make money mostly playing online poker, if i need quick cash, max 50$, than i have to pay them 15$ in fees? Are you kidding? That's the stupidest, is that even a word, thing that a poker room has thought of :D

  • I agree it is pretty bad but if you are non-USA, you have the luxury of playing (almost) wherever you want and cashing out isn't such a big deal.

  • Very informative thread blue - Thanks  :-bd

  • it's very weird to take a fee for payout from bookie it doesnt sound good or either from poker if they want to keep players the must do that without this

  • The problem is that most online casinos, and it looks like poker rooms, too, that do business with US players don't process the money themselves.  Whether we're depositing or withdrawing, they're using a 3rd party processor to move that cash in and out of the US.

A few years ago when the online casino "witch hunt" was going strong here, the US was going in and shutting down those processors, too.  They would seize the funds, then shut them down for any excuse.  The casinos use them as a buffer between that & staying in business.  If the processor they were using got shut down, they immediately switched processors and (usually) made up the losses to the players.

I don't know if the US is doing that anymore - I haven't heard of any in the last couple of years.  Maybe someone else on here knows.

  • What can i say? I was a victim too for the black day of poker in USA, despite i'm from europe, some years ago.. Lost a good amount. But the problem was, that they used 3rd party's to get the player moneys. So is this site going again down the drain? Actualy it looks like YES! If they are "clean", than they should process the money by themselves, otherwisre- thank you, your'e not seeing me there again!

  • No, you don't understand.  It has nothing to do with whether it's a good or bad casino/poker room, they ALL do it for their own protection.  I stated in my previous post that they would immediately switch processors to keep things going.

Please don't make assumptions and accusations about these places if you don't completely understand the system.  That's how ugly rumors get started, and ugly rumors can put a business out of business.

  • 1. i'm not making accusation. 2. I understand, +/- the system- they can't  process directly player money, if the player is a citizen of USA! And i'm not talking about how bad the casion/poker site is... Simply If you can't 100% legaly do it, ok it's a bit harsh, than don't do it! If something goes wrong, the people behind the site will not get harmed, the players will. I don't have say what happened some years ago! Gambling has always been an easy money for the people who organise them, that's because they are rushing things faster than it should be! Yeah, there are talks going on about legalizing it in the whole US, but on the other hand.....
