Online gambling interests joined by Nokia and Zynga
Mobile gambling market will soon see two giant players competing for a share in it, thanks to an extension of a deal closed between Finnish cellphone maker Nokia and social gaming developer Zynga.
The deal will see hit games like Zynga Poker and Draw Something brought to Asha Touch devices and Nokia Lumia smartphones and Windows Phones in the third quarter of 2012.
Players will be able to download both apps free of charge from the Nokia Store, which also offers Nokia Asha Touch users a variety of other mobile gaming experiences provided by global partners such as EA, Gameloft, Rovio, and Namco Bandai.
