Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates should be getting a lot of money back
After initial reports that Pokerstars is to acquire Full Tilt Poker and reimburse players owed monies, one player in particular had a lot to look forward to.
It was high stakes poker pro Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates who was up $7 million on the site between fall 2009 and Black Friday on April 15, 2011, with 80 percent of his bankroll locked up in the Black Friday shutdown of FTP.
The young pro (aged 22) currently resides in the UK because of the legal issues with online poker in his native United States. According to him, he did not only see much of his balance locked in the Justice Department shutdown, but this also caused him to lose his momentum on the virtual high stakes tables at Full Tilt, where he was quite successful.
